Arvada Christmas Music Devotional

On Thursday, December 9, 2021, the Arvada Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted a community Christmas Music Devotional at its building at 12995 West 72nd Avenue in Arvada.

The music was led by Mark Call and was accompanied by Lisa Lara and Sheri Despain, all of the Arvada Stake.  The program consisted of Christmas hymns sung by a youth choir composed of youth from the Arvada Stake as well as Christmas hymns sung by the congregation and the choir.

Between each song individuals from the youth choir read narrations centered around the birth and mission of Jesus Christ, including passages from The Living Christ document.

During the month of December, the Arvada Stake also puts on display for the community a self-guided lighted lifesize nativity with 10 storyboards sharing scriptures from Luke and Matthew as well as the full The Living Christ document and the Light the World calendar, and Christmas music.

Those in attendance at the Christmas Music Devotional were encouraged to visit the nativity as part of the program and invited to return often with friends and family.
