Local Young Woman Attends Disney Dreamers Academy

Allison Jensen, 16 from Thornton, Quail Valley Ward recently returned from a dream experience at Walt Disney World. Allison was awarded the opportunity to attend The Disney Dreamers Academy, a leadership conference for 100 high-school students hosted by Disney World. This once-in-a-lifetime experience allowed her to meet with Disney executives, celebrity speakers, and of course, spend time exploring the Disney Parks.

Allison applied back in October 2022 when she wrote three essays and three short responses about her dreams for the future, finding joy through adversity, and being a champion for change.  Allison never expected to be selected as over 25,000 high schoolers applied.  

This was a dream come true for Allison. Congrats!
