BYU Vocal Point Group To Perform in Grand Junction
Vocal Point was founded in 1991 by three students at Brigham Young University. As an all A cappella choir Vocal Point quickly soared to popularity and was adopted officially into the School of Music at BYU in 1994.
More recently Vocal Point competed on NBC’s The Sing-Off, where the 2010-2011 group competed against 15 other A cappella groups in Los Angeles before a panel of celebrity judges. During a wildly popular run on the show, Vocal Point made it to the top 5 and won critical acclaim for their performances.
The group continues to grow and perform. With a recent focus on digital media Vocal Point now regularly publishes to their YouTube channel which at the time of this writing has over 280K subscribers.
Members of the Grand Junction community have a special upcoming opportunity to hear from Vocal Point. On February 17th at 7:00 pm Vocal Point will be performing at the Avalon Theatre in Grand Junction. Tickets can be purchased here: Vocal Point – Grand Junction 2018
