Tabernacle Choir Watch Party Features Community Service Project and Live Performance from The Piano Guys

Several thousand members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently packed into Denver’s new CoBank Arena for an incredible night of music and service.
The main attraction for the evening was to watch a rebroadcast of the June 24-25 performance of The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square at the Hollywood Bowl in California. This was a benefit concert dedicated to improving the health, education and well-being of women and children across the globe.
Prior to the rebroadcast, dozens of young single adult members of the Church came from throughout Colorado to participate in a JustServe service project just outside the arena. The volunteers braved the 90-degree heat to create reusable bags for local food pantries out of t-shirts. In total, the YSA members created 700 bags in less than two hours.
In addition to watching the Tabernacle Choir concert, attendees were also treated to a thrilling live performance from The Piano Guys. Pianist Jon Schmidt and cellist Steven Sharp Nelson entertained the audience with their signature blend of humor and uplifting music. The Utah-based group performed for about 30 minutes followed by the Tabernacle Choir rebroadcast which attendees enthusiastically watched together on CoBank Arena’s large screens.
