Are you looking for opportunities to serve and give back to the community? Check out the many opportunities at the Just Serve Volunteer Fair! EVERYONE IS INVITED!

  • Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 – 9 – 11:30 a.m.
  • 6465 W. Jewell Ave., Lakewood, Colo.

 

 Some of the service groups / agencies that will be on site to answer questions are:

*Jefferson County Public Schools *The Action Center

*Jefferson County Human Services *International Rescue Committee

*VFW Post 12009

*Jefferson County Open Space *Lutheran Family Services *Mountain Resource Center

  •   Get started by participating in short service projects onsite during the fair by bringing a package of diapers and / or helping to make blankets to benefit the International Rescue Committee and Jefferson County Human Services.
  •   Learn about and register for JustServe.org – a place where opportunities and volunteers connect!

    Hi, my name is Jeff Hageman, and I work with an incredible teacher, named Michelle Ritschard. She introduced the Volunteer Fair to me. At school (The Manning School in Golden) we have National Junior Honor Society members who want to volunteer.

    Here is my question: Do you know the age limits for vounteers for each of these organizations. Out students are 11-13.
